Project to combat desertification in Tombwa District

Objectives: The project aims to:
- promote sustainable development of Tombwa District, through actions aimed at combating desertification and protecting forest resources;
- stop dune encroachment in Tombwa town and on agricultural areas;
- plant tree in Rio Curioca's riversides;
- reduce forest depletion;
- build capacity of governmental staff and local population.
